ABOUT NBSC

Since 1993, the National Business School Conference has been one of Canada’s premier business student conferences. The National Business School Conference is an annual three-day event hosted in Winnipeg, MB by the Commerce Students’ Association at the Asper School of Business. This conference brings together approximately 150 business-student executives from Canada’s top universities to collaborate, connect, and learn from the country’s top business leaders.

Every delegate that attends is an executive of their Business Student Association (BSA), with most attendees holding a President or Vice-President position. These individuals are responsible for creating, developing, and executing initiatives and events that engage students and their local business community. Whether that is securing corporate sponsorships, organizing charity initiatives, or planning large-scale galas, these emerging leaders play a significant role in enriching the student experience at their respective schools.

NBSC is the checkpoint and the motivating spark that inspires these young leaders to innovate and create their legacy.

BUILD CONNECTIONS

Our goal is to connect the top business student leaders from across the country and help them create lasting relationships that will continue long after their terms end.

GAIN KNOWLEDGE

Every year delegates return home with the knowledge and tools to create and improve value within their own student organizations, gained through sessions, workshops, and discussions.

REJUVENATE

This weekend will offer our delegates some much-needed fun to help them recharge from their busy lives of balancing school and extracurricular activities.

NBSC AT A GLANCE

NBSC kicks off with a welcome event to mingle with other delegates and to meet the organizing committee. And true to conference form, every night event will be themed. During the conference, delegates will stay at TBD, which is reserved exclusively for delegates of NBSC. Sessions and workshops will be held at the Asper School of Business located on the University of Manitoba Campus. These sessions form the core of our formal programming and are designed to strengthen the leadership abilities of each delegate. Breakout sessions will allow you to learn from the experiences of other councils, and bring these nation-wide perspectives back home. NBSC workshops will create spaces to explore new skills by learning directly from industry professionals. Finally, delegates will hear from leading entrepreneurs in various Keynote sessions.
